THE PROJECT
In the summer, there’s an eagerly anticipated moment for all football enthusiasts: the unveiling of the new jerseys for the upcoming sports season. This year, Cremonese has chosen Nebbia as its creative partner to manage all aspects of the match kits, from conception to launch.
Nebbia collaborated with Cremonese technical sponsor, Acerbis, to design the three match kits. For the first jersey, a look was chosen that nods to American baseball, riding the trend of game jerseys as streetwear.
The away kit draws inspiration from some of Cremonese’s historic uniforms from the 1980s. The inclusion of the map of Cremona in shades of gray on white provides a distinctive touch and a strong connection to the territory.
For the third kit we chose an elegant black. The sleeves and polo collar are subtly highlighted with fine red-gray lines. In this jersey, the team’s logo was reinterpreted, recalling the design used in the 1990s.
THE CAMPAIGN
For the launch campaign, we embraced a contemporary moodboard, taking the football jersey out of the stadium and into the daily lives and places of the people of Cremona.
We involved six models: three professional female models, a first-team football player, a Primavera football player, and an Under-19 female football player. The photo sessions took place in iconic locations in the city, but with an unconventional choice of settings.
The final result was 30 post-processed shots and three social media reels, one for each jersey.
